Nemasket Outdoor Group Inc. is a 501(c)(3) founded by four family members with a goal of improving access to public conservation land and waterways. Aaron Amara, Andrew Amara, Nick Anderson, and Sam Anderson grew up spending time outdoors fishing, canoeing, hiking, and camping, and wanted to put that love of the outdoors to good use. Through careful coordination with local Conservation Commissions and Open Space Committees, our goals are to improve trails that exist on public lands, add new ones where we can, and clear downed trees and other debris that choke up rivers and streams, hampering access for people who like to spend their days on the water. It’s great to see local towns and cities trying to conserve land where they can, but keeping that land maintained and accessible takes work, and that’s where we hope to help. Through organizing volunteer events and getting the public involved we can inspire and recruit other like-minded folks to help us achieve these goals
