Trucchi's Landing is located on Route 106 in West Bridgewater and is one of ten public access points along the Town River.
Immediately downstream from the put-in, three large trees were blocking the next 200' of the river. Five volunteers worked for four hours in the chest high water to remove trash, and clear the trees from blocking the canoe and kayak route.
Sections of trees still on the bank were left undisturbed to help control erosion.
This cleanup, in addition to previous work on the Town River at Ash Street has made the river accessible from War Memorial Park to the Iron Works in Bridgewater.
